Yes, in once scene you break a window and put broken glass into a scientists mouth, then punch him! The multiplayer game is less gory but no less violent, it's basically 24/7 killing. There is blood and language too, so watch out for that. It can, however, be toned down in the Options by turning Graphic Content off.
