Inhaling smoke (of whatever color) is never good for your health. Your lungs will get dirty.
Black smoke is ALWAYS too much gas going through the engine. They get bad gas mileage. See a mechanic.
Black and blue smoke means your engine is burning oil. That is bad. You may have a blown head gasket. That is very bad. You may have worn piston rings. That is also bad. I have no idea why your engine is burning oil but the reason is bad.

Bad spark plug? Bad spark plug wire? White smoke? could be a head gasket Black smoke? Raw fuel? Bad valve?
If it is blue smoke the rings or valve seals could be bad. If it is white smoke the head could have a bad gasket or have a crack. If it is black smoke the engine is running too rich.
