It depends. Dark Blue can be, but black and dark purple are often worn as goth colours. To be honest i wouldn't worry about it. Just wear what you feel comfortable in! :)

Goth was origanally started in the 20's-40's in basically either undeground or ghetto England. It also would have been modernally caterogorized as a form of "punk goth". It eventually began to expand into other things which are now known as "punk", "emo", or other types of goth. The stereotypical Goth is a huge mistake though. Clothing which Goth's got from different time periods depends on the type of goth. Glitter goth, cyber goth, romantic goth, classic goth, and vampire goth. These styles started at through different parts in times. Goth is not about being depressed or wearing all black. Goth's are encouraged to wear different color clothing but always with black as a base. Goth was and is still do this day about being yourself. Hope this helps a bit.
Blue is the color blue of course!
Blue is the color of the sky!

Blue is a color.
Brunettes should wear bight colors. But only if you like them, otherwise wear brown or white. Never black though, unless you're Goth!!! (I prefer teal or midnight blue)
No, it's the absence of the color blue that makes it blue.
