It is acceptable for Christians to read but keep in mind the book is about the experiences and views of a man's journey to get to know God. It is not the normal viewpoint of most American believers. He may come across to you as being "oddball with a few quirky ideas." I have the book and found the author to be interesting. Having lived in Portland and been around Marylhurst students I can understand why he is so different from most believers in North America.
No, you should be able to read and watch whatever you like.
There is nothing wrong about Leven Thumps books. Why should Christians not want to read it?
Any genre! You're question must be followed by what do atheists like to read, what do Christians like to read, what do socialists like to read, what do democrats like to read? As is if a reading list is based upon an ideology, a belief, a faith...?
That would probably be 'The Satanic Bible' by Anton LaVey.
The snake curse is that the snake is to slither on it's belly. No one knows who said this but I once read it in a book. No one has EVER read this book but Christians. So Christians ( like I am ) has read this book before.
Because it's not their holy book like the bible is
They went to Church and had it read out to them
Christians read the holy bible.
Yes. They are Christians, so they read the bible.
Only Christians read the New Testament because it follows Jesus, who is only the messiah in Christian mythology.
