Is boarding school bad for children?

Yes. Unless you are a totally incompetent parent you should invest the TIME to rear your children rather then entrusting them to professionals.

I love my boarding school. i have soo many friends and it means i am in a lovely inviroment with people who love you. you get lots of decent people and at state schools their is lots of violence so i would defenatly suggest boarding school! :)

Yes undoubtedly... If you're bullied you can't even get a break at the end of the day cos your tormentor is sleeping in the same room as you. Elitism, kids whose parents also went to the school and racism, especially against East Asians, is rife. These institutions were designed to create Empire builders of the 19th century not good kind citizens of the 21st. Your kid will most like turn out a brat or broken...
