yes it is
the water is changing to a gas
see there is three most important things
Solid, Liquid, Gas
and youre changing liquid to a gas/vapour
Physical
Yes
Boiling and evaporation are physical changes.
Evaporation is a physical change; nitrogen remain nitrogen.
Boiling is a physical change not a chemical property change. Changes of a substances state are physical changes. In a chemical change, a new compound or substance is the result. In a physical change no new substance is formed. Example: Water - whether it's a solid (ice) liquid (water) or a gas it's the same substance. When the water boils it changes to steam(gas) which is still water in the air, and when we cool down the gas (condensation) it changes back to water.
It is a physical change because is it changing the leaf? No, no it isn't so it is a physical change.
It is called the Fractional Distillation of Liquid Air. It consists of air being pumped into the industrial plant and filtered to remove dust. It is then passed through drying towers to remove the Carbon Dioxide and Water Vapor, which would clog the pipes. It is then compressed and cooled until the air is liquid. Some gases, such as helium, are removed since they remain in a gaseous state, and the liquid air is pumped into a fractionating tower and heated. The gases then boil off according to their boiling points, and are collected in separate tanks
Please note that a "change of state" involves TWO states, not just one. Using just the three most common states of matter: * A solid can change to a gas * A liquid can change to a gas * A gas can change to a liquid * A gas can change to a solid * A solid can change to a liquid * A liquid can change to a solid The first four changes in the list above involve gases.
Is a physical change as the alcohol is changing states
Turning a vapour into a liquid is called condensation.
Is a physical change as the alcohol is changing states
The liquid starts boiling
