Yes and no. In Christianity, being born again is the real experience of truly accepting Jesus as your savior. Where the scam may come into the picture is when people use the term "born again" to take advantage of people for their own personal gain.
He was Baptist. But only he and God can know for certain wether he was "Born-again"
God knows. Why do you need to be the judge?
Jerusha and Baluga EDIT BY HoworHow (This may not go along with the answer provided above): By "born again Christian" do you mean that they have been baptized and became Christian, and also, do you mean through Disney Channel or just people who star on Disney Channel?
There are people there who say they are Christian, but being a practicing Christian who lives their daily life as a Christian is different than somebody just saying they're a Christian because their grandparents are Christian. The Bible says you must be born again.
From listening to the lyrics in his song "Switch Me On" it seems as if the meaning of the song is based around being "saved" or "born again" so there is some evidence he could be yes. But then again the lyrics for the song could have just been written by a christian lyricist and he's just agreed to sing it for the hundreds of thousands of dollars
You don't. People aren't just inherently one religion or another. You choose it... you have to be converted and believe it, not just be born into it.

Really, the only thing "Christian" about it is the second word in the name. Early on it was partnered with the Disciples of Christ, but it's just another solid university in Texas.
