Theoretically, a BP of 84/66 is a little low. The low normal BP is 90/60. However, depending on the age, sex, physical fitness and a few other factors, it could be OK. For example, it's normal for young children to have a lower BP (90/60). Men usually have a higher BP than women. Professional athletes could have higher blood pressure during their performance. However, if this is a teenager or adult, it is considered hypotension or low blood pressure, and it should be checked by a physician.
is bp for 66 yrs women taking meds is 122-56 ok
That BP is a bit low. You might want to get a checkup at your doctor.
You should check with your physician, of course, and not take medical advice from WikiAnswers. However, a BP of 116/69 would be in the normal range.
Oil companies all have to follow regulatory compliances, BP is no exception to the rule. Regulations have to be followed to ensure all rules are followed and that the product releases is ok to use.
Blood pressure of 90 over 70 and a pulse rate of 68...are they normal/ Yes, the BP is a little low but the heart rate indicates that the body can handle it.
91 perferred. 89 is ok.
That is perfect! 120 over 80 or less is optimal. 130 over 85 is normal. If it gets up to 140 over 90 that is when you would want to be concerned.
I would be concerned if those results were duplicatable on more than on BP cuff and with more than one person doing the readings. It sounds more like an electronic BP cuff that needs new batteries. If those are the readings that three different people can take with three different BP cuffs, in three different settings, three times or more each, then my answer is yes. That would be reason enough to seek medical attention to ensure that everything is ok. There are many ways and many places to get your BP taken. Many grocery stores and pharmacies now have electronic BP test sites, your local Dr. office or clinic will be able to take your BP. Your local red cross would be happy to have you pop in for a cookie, a box of juice and a BP reading. You can call your local hospital ER and ask if they would be kind enough to let you pop in for a reading, or even take your own personal gear over to friend or relatives house (teach them how to do a reading) and ask them to test you.
It is slighlty a little bit on the upper limit of normal. Your Diastolic is approximately 2/3 of systolic - which will be 64 in this case. your BP value is an interplay of a lot of factors and to interprete this particular value 96/73, the knowledge of your previous BP will be important. my advice: check it again, then repeat it about 3 times daily to vary with when you are relaxed, exercised, standing, sitting etc. if you are not satisfied with what you get, contact your doc.
