No it is not. Sterling silver is harder and the cost of Sterling silver is far steeper than that of bronze.
Sterling silver is an alloy made usually of mostly silver, about 92.5 % and another metal such as copper. It does not chip. It bends, melts and tarnishes but does not chip. Do you think steel chips? Pure silver is too soft and can't be used for much of a purpose so they add another harder metal.
Yes. Sterling silver is an alloy (metal mixture) containing 92.5% silver and 7.5% of another metal, such as copper.
The most common metal mixed with silver to form sterling is copper.Silver Jimwww.SilverChatter.com
Sterling silver contains 92.5% silver. The rest is other metal, mostly copper but it varies with manufacturer.
Not exactly. Sterling silver is an alloy of silver and is made up of 92.5% silver and 7.5% of another metal, usually copper. Adding copper/the other metal strengthens the object.
Sterling silver
No. A silver metal is better than a bronze metal.
Basically, yes. Sterling silver means "solid silver, or more properly a solid alloy which is mainly silver". Silver plated means "tin (or aluminium, or iron, or steel, or bronze, or whatever) with a very, very thin coating of silver." ..... Sterling is around 98% solid silver mixed with tiny bit of other metal so that it tarnish less

Sterling silver is a soft metal.
Sterling silver is not a solution- it is a metal alloy. Not the same thing.

Bronze!! .... ?
By international agreement the definition of sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metal usually copper. Sterling silver is usually the better option when choosing jewellry as pure silver is a very soft metal that bends and breaks easily.
