I love camping! My favorite place to go is Northern Michigan around the Baldwin and Manistee area. I found a great campground a few years back called North Country Campground (http://www.baldwincampground.com). They are setup for any camping experience as they have electric available and fully furnished campers for rent. The best part is that the campground is conveniently located next to hundreds of acres of public land.
Boasting nearly twenty different areas for camping tourism, Michigan's "Hiawatha National Forest" is HUGE. "Ottawa National Forest" is also in Michigan.
