Human hair cannot be digested by humans, so I would hypothesize that we could not digest cat hair either.
I once had a burning sensation in my throat and gut and I gagged and up came a strand or two of -I’m assuming my hair- Def human hair. I’ve never experienced anything like that before or since. Weirdest thing ever. I felt like a feline for a moment.

They can be useful if you know how to tame one, and no they are not used by humans considering they are highly dangerous and the fastest wild cat of the cat family. Hope this helped!!!
Besides severe allergies, cat and dog fur is not dangerous to humans. I'm sorry, I can't give you a scientific explanation (maybe someone else can add to this answer), but I can give you the common sense answer: everybody who has dogs or cats ends up eating their hair. It gets all over the house and even into your food. There is actually a Garfield cartoon about it, where Garfield's owner Jon comments on how he always finds at least one cat hair in his food. That is not an exaggeration; I find at least one cat hair in everything I eat, too. Which means there must be others that I haven't noticed, and have inadvertently eaten. Actually, you're going to think I'm disgusting, but sometimes I don't even bother picking the hair out; I just eat it. There's just so many of them, sometimes I get tired of picking them out. Anyway, if cat and dog hair were dangerous to eat, everybody who owns a cat or dog would wind up dead. I can add scientifically to this answer. Cat fur and dog hair, like our own hair, are mostly made of the indigestible protein keratin; in fact, hair by any name is over 90% this protein. But while keratin is not nutritious, it does provide some fiber.
If a cat has ate Clonzepam it is best to immediately seek medical attention unless the cat vomits. Watch the cat for abnormal behaviors. Any medication that is prescribed to humans can be dangerous for an animal.
Herbal Essences is a brand of shampoo and conditioner for human hair. It is not suitable to use on a cat as it is designed for humans only.
