Although it was briefly considered, ceratosaurus is currently placed in it's own family, ceratosauridae
An abelisaurid is a dinosaur of the Cretaceous period, whose fossils have been found on the modern-day continents of Africa and South America, as well as the island of Madagascar.
The largest Abelisaurid was Abelisaurus itself, though most think it is Carnotaurus as it is more famous. Growing to 9 m, Abelisaurus dwarfed Carnotaurus at only 7.5 m
A Ceratosaurus both ran and walked.
no because on my book it says ceratosaurus was carnivore and its a scavenger on Jurassic park it was scavenging
in my house
carnotaurus was larger and slightly faster then ceratosaurus. carnotaurus had smaller teeth designed for ripping flesh while ceratosaurus had larger teeth desighned for killing prey and slicing through flesh so i would say its a draw
drought
no, it was in a group ceratosauria
Okey. Lets size 'em up. Dilophosaurus and Ceratosaurus were both 23 feet long, but cerato out-wieghed its rival by 1,000 pounds. Dilophosaurus was faster and smater, but Ceratosaurus was stronger and had much larger teeth and jaws. So who would come ontop? In my opinion, Ceratosaurus.
