No way!
I disagree with the above answer! I have a good friend who cannot chew gum, because the juice from it makes her stomach hurt AND my step son can only chew gum until it gets really juicy and then spits it out or, he too, gets a stomach ache! Yes! It can make your stomach hurt! I was actually looking on here to find out why when I ran across this answer!

Well , yes it can. from what the person above said , the juices from it make your stomach . and it only makes MY stomach hurt if its eaten at night xD
Chewing Gum for long hours or on an empty stomach isn't good. When you chew you swallow and this prepares your intestines for digestion and when there's nothing more to digest only air and saliva fills your stomach causing your intestines to hurt from grinding 'nothing'. Try and chew for about an hour at most and give it a break or eat something before you chew again.
Yes it is. When you chew gum your stomach will make acid to digest the food, but you won't swallow the gum. Some people get six stomachs from chewing gum. It is best to chew gum after you eat a meal.
Bubble gum or other gum should not be swallowed because it can cause increased acid in the stomach, as well as binding to other indigestible food products. However, small amounts accidentally ingested are usually harmless.
Its possible. When you chew anything, it helps relieve any pressure that is in your ears caused by infection or fluid build up. You may have a slight ear infection. If it continues, see your doctor.
It gets stuck in your tummy and if you swallow it you are in risk of it clogging up your throat
