Generally speaking it is better to not inbreed however it is done all the time.
In commercial farms chickens are kept in flocks of thousands thereby reducing the chance of inbreeding. As long as it is not constantly being bred back to the same bloodlines, inbreeding is fine in small amounts. It is not recommended to breed brother/ sister or breeding mother/son or father/daughter. The results are the same as in a COI of 25%, which is too high.
Inbreeding depression can be an issue in chicken inbreeding, and egg production may be stunted if the COI passes a desired mark, such a 6.25%. Inbreeding Depression may also cause Chickens to pluck their own feathers, resulting in a dang ugly chicken.
So, if you are careful and the chicken is bred to distantly related or not related chickens, you should be fine.
Have a Good Day!
inbreeding can increase the risk of birth defects and also may increase the chance of the dog having conditions that are genetically passes on from the parents, for example hip problems in German shepherds. dogs are healthier and have a stronger immune system when parents come from different gene pools
Not exactly, not like West Nile Virus or shingles would be for horses. It's a form of breeding son to mother, sire to daughter, brother to sister, etc. It's a type of mating that is used to purify a breed so that genetic abnormalities are able to present themselves and to see whether both sire and dam have such genetic abnormalities. These genetic abnormalities or defects only come about if both dam and sire are heterozygous for such a genetic deformity. It is a health issue to the foal that is born via inbreeding, especially if that foal is able to survive from such a breeding, but not to the parents that have been bred together.
However, if a breeder is very careless in how his/her horses are being bred, like wanting to keep a closed herd for many years with the same stallion those many years producing sons and daughters, the daughters being bred to their sire and the sons breeding either dams or sisters and so on and so forth, it indeed can be a health issue, since constant inbreeding can and will stunt growth and make the resulting offspring less resistant to disease if the breeder doesn't vaccinate annually. When a new horse is added to the herd, or if some disease or illness somehow comes into contact with those horses, all heck can break loose.

Yes, but inbreeding is not a good idea.Yes, but inbreeding is not a good idea.
No,it is not safe for horses to eat mushrooms and toadstools. This can cause a very bad sickness dissease for horses and a deadly death.
no. worms are parasites that come from the grass and larvae and eggs that horses ingest. they grow in the stomach and intestines and are passed in the feces and then are reingested as the horse eats more grass. sugar is bad for horses for the same reason it is bad for people.
No, yogurt is very bad it can make them very sick as horses are herbivores, accustomed to eating grass and hay.
Siamese cats and thorobred race horses would be two examples of inbreeding.
inbreeding is esentially just your dog having maybe bad dna, then breeding with someone so close that they have that same bad gene and their pups get the bad gene cuz there's no way to cancel it out with the blood lines so close. inbreeding doesn't CAUSE anything, but if allergies were in the family blood, there's a great chance the dogs will have them.
Genetic diseases and mutations as a result of the pairing of bad alleles.
Pizza is not bad for horses, however, there are much cheaper ways of feeding horses.
Horses should keep away from Bad Carrots.
You could, but there is always a possibility of deformity when inbreeding. Since the horses aren't related closley (i.e mother and son) the chance of deformity probobly wouldn't be that high. But, just to be safe, you should avoid inbreeding as much as you possibly can.
No, walnuts are bad for horses and can kill them if the horses eat them.
selective breeding not inbreeding
