In a word, no.

The explanation: Many people mistakenly assume that Christianity, with its "Triune" God to be a form of polytheism, which is a religion having more than one god. Christianity, both technically and religiously, is a mono-theistic religion. The "Triune" nature of God, i.e. Father, Son and Holy Spirit, are actually different names and iterations of the same, one God, called God the Father by Christians, a name which also contributes to the confusion.

God the Father is the God that most people expect to see when looking into Christianity in comparison to other religions that claim to have a flesh and blood god or gods. So it may help to think of God the Father as the equivalent of other religion's flesh and blood gods, or as the case may be, stone or marble gods. He is the one you expect to see when looking for or at God.

God the Son, also called Jesus, is actually described in the Holy Bible, as the "Word of God", and if you study the works of Jesus as a man here on earth, this lines up perfectly with his teachings. Another way of looking at it is to think of God the Son as the thought processes of God the Father. This brings us to the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is described in the Holy Bible as "a comforter", and this is exactly what he is. He is the Spirit of God the Father, and it may help to think of him as God the Father thinking of you from Heaven, and sending his thoughts to you in "spirit" form as a comfort to you, especially in times of stress and/or crisis. He can be called the Spirit of God, which is exactly what he is.

This all compares and alines perfectly with mankind here on earth who are also considered to be a tri-part being, having a soul, a spirit and a body. We are not three separate beings, but one being composed of three distinct parts. By way of further comparison, and at the risk of over simplification, God the Father can be thought of as the body, God the Son as the Soul and the Holy Spirit as the Spirit.
