It is a low quality cassia. The US, unlike most other countries, allows Cassia to be sold as cinnamon. The best cassia comes from Vietnam,, cheap "cinnamon comes from INDONESIA. if you have a Pnzy's near you they have good quality real cinnamon for Sri Lanka as well as high quality Vietnamese Cassia. Both are excellent.
