Several sea snakes are know to be among the most poisonous snakes in the world. They are how ever ill equipped to bite people due to the structure of their mouth and and the positioning of their fangs. If measured the venom of certain sea snakes would be greater than that of even the most venomous cobras, but there are few if any records of people dying from a sea snake bite, the same can not be said about the cobra. Which sanke is more likely to kill you. The cobra

What is the worlds largest poisonous snake?

The longest venomous snake in the world is the King Cobra, with one specimen reaching over 18.5 feet long. Several other venomous snakes - such as the bushmaster, eastern diamondback rattlesnake, or gaboon viper - may reach a greater weight than the king cobra even though they are much shorter. The appropriate word to use is "venomous", not "poisonous", because venom refers to a toxin that is injected by the animal, whereas poisonous animals are those who spread their toxin by being ingested or through contact with the skin.

What snake has the longest fangs?

The 'Fierce' snake, (Oxyuranus microlepidotus) found in Australia's inland areas is by far the most venomous snake in the world. Fortunately, although very fast, it is rather docile and not particularly aggressive. The Eastern Brown Snake, aka Common Brown Snake (Pseudonaja textilis)is the second most poisonous snake, and is also highly aggressive, making it by far the world's most dangerous snake - to be handled in zoos, etc. only by the most experienced staff, wearing protective clothing.mamba - a dangerous African snake - not to be taken lightly. It has killed many more people than the two Australian snakes, as it lives near population centres.

Which snake is more poisonous a cobra or a rattle snake?

by my research the copper head it is said to be more poisonous if it bites deep into your skin I don't know where the above respondent did the "research" but this is not true, as far as humans are concerned the venom is very similar but the the rattlesnake gets the edge because of its larger venom glands and fangs! The copperhead of North America is less venomous than the rattlers, but the snake called "copperhead" of Australia is more toxic than rattlesnakes.
