No... that would be like asking if Coke is connected to teenagers. There's no connection, it's just a drink that happens to be popular with some Mormons.

Yes, if they want. Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) are expected to hold to a health code, which prohibits the consumption of "strong drink", "hot drink", and habit-forming substances. Most Mormons avoid alcohol, coffee, and tea due to their interpretation of this health code, but others take it more extreme and avoid sodas, including Coke. It's pretty common for a Mormon to avoid caffeinated sodas, but they will drink caffeine-free Coke products.
The Pepsi company is not owned by any one individual or group. Publicly traded companies have shares of there company that are sold at the stock market to create operating capitol for the company. When the company has a growth period, the value of each individual stock rises and those who own the stock are paid accordingly. People who own stock in companies do so as an investment in order to have their money grow. The Mormon Church does own stocks in various companies. As a general long term investment, it is a good way to make your money grow. The Mormon church may or may not own some stock in Pepsi. The Mormon Church uses it's funds to build churches and temples, and to supply relief to many areas and individuals affected by natural disasters, poverty, and other needs.
No. The Coca Cola Company is owned by shareholders - of which there could be thousands. Sure, some of these individual shareholders could be members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (commonly called the "Mormon" Church), but the majority certainly are not. The Church itself is not involved with the Coca Cola Company. The Chairman and CEO of Coca Cola is Muhtar Kent, a Muslim.

Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) believe that God has given them a health code called the 'Word of Wisdom'. The exact words of this health code prohibit consuming 'strong drink' and 'hot drink'. Church leaders have defined 'strong drink' as alcohol and 'hot drink' as coffee and tea. It has been suggested that caffeinated beverages should be avoided as well, But personal interpretation of the Word of Wisdom is up to the individual. If a Mormon wishes to drink soda or cola drinks (even caffeinated ones), they are welcome to. This is a personal choice.

Pepsi is a publically traded stock-market company owned by public shareholders. While some of the individual shareholders might be Mormon, the company itself was never owned by Mormons or by the Mormon Church (the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints). Mormons can and always could drink all the Pepsi (or Coke) they want. The Church itself even serves Pepsi products at some of it's cafeterias and universities. Mormons are advised to avoid caffeinated beverages, so most (but not all) would choose caffeine-free Pepsi.
