Biofuels are fuel made from any plant or animal based products. Two traditional biofuels are wood and corn. Biofuels are renewable sources of energy.
Biofuel comes from petroleum products which come from below the ground. Ethanol, however, the "bio" part of biofuels, comes from corn.
source:(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biofuel)we use biofuels because they do not make as much pollution as normal fuels.
Corn and peas are a good source of starch
Biofuels are fuels used in powering machinery such as automobiles that are produced from organic matter, such as corn. They differ from fossil fuels which may have originally been organic matter but have changed chemically.
Yes, soybean oil is the main source of biodiesel.
Maize is corn; it is used as food for humans and animals, it can also be used to make biofuels, and other chemicals. It can also be used to make corn oil.
Because they are a renewable source of energy such as solar energy and other different biofuels. They release carbon dioxide that was recently taken from the air, so they are part of the carbon cycle, unlike fossil fuels that add age-old carbon to the greenhouse gases.
yes. and they're delicious with milk.
Sweet Corn
I have a science project that you had to list biofuels,They are:Ethanol-that is Corn, barley and sorghumOther sources of sugar to produce ethanolthey are Potato skins, Rice, Sugar cane, Sugar, beets, Yard clippings, Bark and Switchgrass
I know that biofuels are renewable because they are derived from plant material. Those plants use sunlight, which is an inexhaustible source. I'm not so sure but that should clear things up.
