Not really. A dog is a scavenger (most of the time) and it can handle pretty much anything except for digesting cellulose. A dog however expects a high protein diet with bits of bone in it. Dogs have highly acidic stomachs that readily dissolve bone. This is why some of the higher class dog foods have bits of bone in it. If human were to try and eat such dog-food they would quickly develop bleeding ulcers due to the abrasive bone on their stomach walls. This has happened in certain hazing rituals in fire-fighting brigades.
