Not to mention its just satisfying to blast away at helpless necromorphs as you play on the easy difficulty, sitting on endless amounts of ammunition, and health. OR if you actually like a challenge and have played the first game (Dead Space) Then I recommend the zealot difficulty for a real "intense" feel.

Only when you are dead and watching your teamates. You can do so in normal gameplay. or if you're in a certain vehicle you can press down on the right analog stick.

For MW2, there is a gamemode where you can play in 3rd person, but it gets frusterating.
