prey
Both
it is a predator
A dog is both a predator and prey. To cats, a dog can be a predator. To a lion, a dog may be prey.
the prey is that of which is hunted, the predator is the one who does the hunting
Depends on the situation. In captivity, they are predators. In the wild, they are both - they prey on insects, and are preyed upon by animals such as wild-dogs, birds of prey, snakes etc.
Prey- (what it eats) bugs, grub, crickets, mealworms, beetles. Predator- Snakes, People, Dogs, Cats, anything with the curiosity of picking at it, but they are very hidden.
A German Shepherd can be both Predator and Prey. They are mostly predator because they are police dogs and because they are police dogs they sniff things out so if they were to be sniffing out a killer animal they would be considered a Predator. But they may also be good prey for certain attacking animals that are carnivores that kill animals that are fairly larger than they are. But if you want to be technical they are a Extremely Good Predator.
A gazelle is a prey for many animals including cheetahs or wild dogs but it itself is just a herbivore (it eats grass and leaves).
Both,Opossums will prey on small rodents, baby birds or unhatched eggs and insects, but become prey to cats, dogs and of course humans.
Example: Lion = Predator Gazelle = Prey The predator seeks after the prey.
A peacock can be both a predator and a prey. They are omnivores. Peacocks are subject to predators such as cats and dogs.
A prey is what a predator hunts down to kill and eat. A prey's predator is what eats it. For example: A gazelle is the prey of a leopard (predator).
