Adam Young has a varied style, but he dresses modestly, and on occasion slightly old-fashioned. In concert he wears jeans (usually skinnies) a dress-shirt and a vest and/or tie. He almost always wears the same black tennis shoes, and he often wears a white belt. At home he generally wears jeans and a t-shirt (often with logos) in the summer, and in colder times of year he might wear a plaid flannel shirt or a hoodie. These are only a few examples of his style, so if you'd like to know more you can google images of him, or visit his Facebook and MySpace profiles.

No, although society usually expects it, there are many ways in which a dress shirt alone can look good as well, depending on the design of the dress shirt of course. It also depends on where you want to wear it or what for.
