Naturally it is connected. Without energy we have no economy. When the economy is in dire straits, we tend to conserve more and have less use.
No matter how you view the issue, it is connected. That is why the future of our energy state is so important. If we cap and tax the current energy use, as the current administration wants to do, we limit our future and the future of our children. Energy shortages because of over taxation will destroy our economy. Great if you live in any country outside the U.S.A. but bad for us.
