Yes AND No. You will need to have good math skills to perform most engineering designs. BUT... Creativity is most important. Most engineers don't write very well. Writng skills are a good indicator that you can think in an organized way. Good for engineering. Thinking logically is more important.
If you are interested in how things work, be that electronics, mechanical, chemical etc., then you will make an excellent engineer. If you helped set up the train set during the holidays or helped design a skateboard ramp you'll be a good engineer.
Yes, it will be hard. You'll always have situations in which you'll have to express yourself, so I strongly suggest you practice your writing skills.
No
No
No it is not
None of those talents or shortcomings is a reliable predictor. You will fail Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, or any other specialty, if you expect it to be so hard that you'll fail it, or if you expect it to be so easy that you'll sail through without work. The decision to fail it or not fail it is your decision to make, and has no connection with what you think you're good at or not good at.
Math, Engineering and the Hard Sciences(except biology lol), however, regardless of the major, you have to be good at some level of writing.
No it's not true, engineering is more mathematics based than writing based and more than likely, most engineers in the field are terrible at writing. Writing skills can take you so far in most fields such as this but with engineering and other math based fields like economics and accounting, it doesn't matter that much.
Not very, engineers are good at doing things, not explaining things, if they were good at writing papers, they would be managers, but at that time, they would write more and do less in the field. Math is the more important subject at hand, not writing.
Maths is a black-and-white subject, ie the answer is either right or wrong, whereas essay writing is a grey subject, ie there is no right or wrong answer but where you have to argue your position on points using previous research on the study (and duly referenced as such) and your ability to link them together. Those who are good at maths tend to prefer black-and-white answers, eg 2 + 2 will always be 4 and not sometimes 3.4 or 4.2 which would be a grey answer, as preferred by those good at writing essays.
It depends.
No. The opposite is true. A person who is good at math will tend to do well in physics and engineering.
No, it will not be hard.
