Entropy growing only happens in normal conditions but in extreme conditions such as a black hole, entropy will decrease. Entropy growing is caused by energy dissipation and entropy decrease is caused by energy being produced from the mass - energy transformation process in the extreme conditions. It is the energy dissipation process caused the mass be produced and the fundamental property of the mass --- gravity then will cause concentration process that end up in forming the extreme conditions in the black holes in the centre of galaxies that perform the mass - energy transformation in large scale that maintaining the life of the universe. All movement is derived from this fundamental movement of mass - energy transformation movement and this movement is a true non-friction movement that is self-causing, self-inducing, self-maintaining oscillating process that will last for ever. That is the way matter exists. Along with it is the everlasting entropy growing and entropy decreasing process.

No, it's unconditional.

When scientists say that entropy is always increasing what do they mean?

that obama is the worst prez ever.

What is the scientific measure of disorder is called?

This is called entropy.

Entropy involves losing energy over time?

Entropy actually refers to the measure of disorder or randomness in a system. As a closed system evolves, entropy tends to increase over time as energy disperses and the system becomes more disordered. It is not about losing energy but rather about the transformation of energy into less usable forms.

When does entropy increases?

Entropy increases when ever energy is used up. Energy cannot be destroyed, but it is always lost in the form of unusable energy. Entropy is the % of unusable energy compared to usable energy in a given system.

What is the measure of disorder and randomness?

Entropy is the measure of system randomness.

According to the second law of thermodynamics does entropy increase in a cold system?

Yes, according to the second law of thermodynamics, entropy tends to increase in a closed system. In a cold system, if the temperature is below the surroundings, the heat can flow from the surroundings to the system, increasing the system's entropy.

How does the entropy change in the reaction 2c3h6g 9o2g 6co2g 6h2og?

The entropy change in a reaction can be calculated by comparing the entropy of the products to the entropy of the reactants. Without specific entropy values provided, it is difficult to determine the exact change. However, in general, the entropy change is positive in reactions where the products have higher entropy than the reactants, indicating an increase in disorder.

Why is entropy irreversible?

It's not that entropy can't be reversed, it's that the entropy of the universe is always increasing. That means that while you can reduce the entropy of something, the entropy of another thing must go up even more so that in total, the entropy goes up.
