It is difficult to directly compare the quality of life between our forefathers and us as there are various factors to consider, such as advancements in technology and medicine. While our forefathers may have had simpler lives with less stress due to fewer distractions, our access to resources and opportunities today may provide for a more comfortable and convenient lifestyle. Ultimately, perceptions of whether life was better in the past or present may vary depending on individual perspectives and values.
Science has revolutionaries' agriculture and now it is possible for us to grow more food it has also enabled us to dress ourselves in a much better manner than our forefathers.
Because they believe it's better than the country they are in. They will get better job opportunities they're kids will get a better education. They want a better life than where they came from.
They come for a better life. People since the 1600's have come to a better life than what they have. All of us unless we are Native Americans we are from immigrants.
US because we don't make our own stuff the Chinese basically live to serve us...almost like slavery =[

Most immigrants looking for freedom of religion/speech, a better way of life, and a better justice system, all found a better standard of living by coming to the US. Immigrants are generally happier in the US than they were in their country of origin.
Itβs better to be the ruler of your life than to be ruled. It encourages us to lead, not follow blindly. Taking control of your life symbolizes courage and strength. You can't force a lion to do anything, can you?
