Stomach stapling surgery is called a gastric bypass operation. This procedure is a major surgery, with open gastric bypass surgery requiring up to a five day hospital stay and laparoscopic bypass surgery requiring a 2-3 day hosptial stay.
This is a very serious subject that should only be considered as a last resort as it is major surgery. You can do bariatiric surgery or gastric bypass. They both make the stomach smaller so you eat less and lose weight.
There is only one major type of gastric band surgery available that is safe and approved by the FDA. The surgery restricts your stomach, which is used to assist people in losing weight.
africa and south sfrica and england although all of these countries have more than one staple, hope this helps?
Gastric bypass surgery is a major surgery, I would talk to your doctor first to find out more information on the procedure. This surgery is WAY more than a simple stomach stapling procedure.
Visit your doctor, it is the ONLY answer. Nobody knows best.

Whipple surgery, also called Whipple procedure is named after the famous American surgeon Allen O. Whipple (1881 - 1963) who first described Whipple Disease. During this surgical procedure the head of the pancreas, the duodenum, a portion of the stomach, and other local tissues are excised. This is a major operation. Most surgeries cause patients to be nauseated and to throw up after surgery. There are many reasons for this. The two obvious ones are (a) the medications used during anaesthesia are poisons and the body attempts to "throw them out" by vomiting and the second (b) is the fact that the whipple surgery is a major operation involving the stomach. During this procedure the stomach becomes less active and the gut is temporarily slow. Introduction of food or fluids into the "quiet" stomach (no peristaltic activities) results in reverse peristalsis (vomitinng). During my twenty plus years as a Registered Nurse I did met very few patients who were not sick after surgery. Patients were sick after all surgeries, not just after whipple surgery. Patients are ususally more sick after surgery involving the stomach, intestines and the oesophagus. what are the 3 major parts of the digestive system the stomach?
Bypass stomach operations can be performed laparoscopically. This consists of inserting a small camera through a likewise small incision into the stomach area. Called a laparoscope, the camera is able to transmit live views of the stomach and intestines to a monitor in the operation room. Other incisions in the area enable the surgeon to insert fine surgical instruments by which he or she is able to perform operations that band the stomach into a small size and make adjustments to the small intestine. The operation comprises major surgery. It is a lengthy and can take up to four hours.
Ear surgery, known as otoplasty, can correct major or minor deformities of the ear. The America Society of Plastic Surgeons offers a free "Find a Surgeon" tool.
