Not exactly, maybe a little, the only pain you can feel is the needle peircing your skin and the blood drain out but when its over you feel much better knowing what it's going to and that you are saving a life each pint you give.

it is painful
but not majorly painful
i got mine done yesterday and it hurt
there is one clue for less pain
look away
you will panic and get nervous if you see the needle go in and the blood through a tube.

∙ 12y agoNO not at all!!! you might be really scared ( I was too) but I relaxing and it feels really good..you will be completely fine I am only 13 and it doesn't hurt me!

∙ 15y agoThey use a needle with a tube attached. Its not too painful and don't look when they do it if the sight of blood makes you weak.
