Graphene does have excellent mechanical and electrical properties but it is not necessarily the 'miracle material' that the media portray it as and I wouldn't be surprised if we are still "just talking" about it in 10 years time. However, if the aforementioned issues can be overcome then I definitely think it will be revolutionising electronics, civil engineering and medicine in the coming decades.
