Considering muscle to weight ratio, i would imagine a bear would come out on top, although the tiger may be able to out run the bear.
Bit of an odd question perhaps?
Brown bear, and the grizzly is a race of the brown bear.
Lion would be killed. Grizzly bear would be more powerful and stronger.
Whoa, there are WAY too many variables here to be able to answer! What species of bear and tiger are we talking about anyway? What age, sex and health status are these animals at?? Just way too many variables here to get a clear, defined idea as to what will happen!
The tiger any day! A tiger is much more agile and aggressive. not to mention that tigers are the sickest animals around. and hop is wrong
Lions are powerful cats, second only to the tiger. The grizzly bear is a race of the brown bear. Lions can weigh 400 pounds or more, and a large male grizzly can weigh 800 pounds or more. Chances are, the fight would be brief, with both animals retiring after a few moments. There are records of Siberian tigers killing brown bears, however.
A grizzly bear is larger and more powerful than a koala which, incidentally, is not a bear at all, but a marsupial. A grizzly bear could easily defeat a koala, and kill it with a single swipe of its paw. However, being smaller, a koala would be capable of climbing higher up a tree, into the smaller branches, which would be unable to support a grizzly bear. In doing do, the koala could defeat any grizzly bear's intentions.
although there have been no documented cases of a fight between a tiger and a grizzly, there were several documented cases in the 1920s of staged fights between grizzlys and African lions, these encounters were no contest with the grizzly dispatching the lions with ease. My guess is the tiger may put up a slightly better fight than the lion but would still be killed readily by the more powerful grizzly.
Powerlines are about twice as powerful as a Daisy Grizzly.
The Polar bear. It is larger, much more carnivorous, more beastly, and stronger than a grizzly bear or a kodiak bear.
Since kodiak brown bears are a huge subspecies of brown bear, and a grizzly is a smaller subspecies of brown bear, a kodiak would win (assuming an average sized individuals from each was fighting). Average grizzlies weight around 400-500 pounds, while Kodiak's can weight around 1,000.
A Grizzly can run 35 or more MPH
The Liger would win because of its resources to fighting. Believe it or not, the Liger can weigh in at 1200 pounds itself, while the Kodiak just looks more menacing in volume. But a liger is one bad mother - taking down water buffalo, tigers, lions, tigons, and other animals merely or twice its size - Ligers are a menacing predator. If a Polar Bear, Kodiak, and even Grizzly Bear engaged in battle with a Liger - the Liger would pullout victoriously. Given the grace of stealth - water buffalos, rhinoceras', and hippos have been found in the bellys (minced) by this apex predator.
