Physical, it is a change of state.
Hail formation is a physical change. It involves the freezing of water droplets in clouds into ice pellets, which then fall to the ground. This process does not involve a chemical change in the composition of the water molecules.
Yes, precipitation is a physical change. It involves the process of condensation and solidification of water vapor in the atmosphere, resulting in the formation of rain, snow, sleet, or hail. This change does not alter the chemical composition of the water molecules but rather their state of matter.
Melting. Hail is made from water, and water must go under extreme conditions to sublimate. Instead, hail simply melts like ice.
Clouding is a purely physical process of condensing vaporous water into liquid water (also freezing or sublimating it to solid ice / hail / snow) . Chemically nothing has changed (water molecules stay unchanged, still being water) only there (physical) state (this is a kind of 'condition' of matter) has changed.
through out all the information on hail I have read, it comes to my idea that the size does not change once the hail has been formed. in the related links box below, I posted the wikipeida hail article.the biggest hail recorded in history was a 7 pounder. there is a picture of it in the article.
precipitation is rain snow sleet or hail, melting is like an ice cube turning into a liquid. please note,,,, these answers r coming from a ten year old that luvs remembers and is good at science we studied that stuff alot
i think that the air masses change.
Because the clouds will be warmed up when water droplets "supercool" and attach to the silver iodide. As it freezes it releases heat and the warm air will rise warming up the rest of the possible hail in the storm.

The activities that aid in the formation and deposition of soil is rain, sun, & hail.
Hail Hail the Celts Are Here was created in 1961.
Hail can have many meanings, such as "hailing" a taxi, "hail" that falls from the sky, "hail" as in "greet," etc. Though I'm not sure which context you're referring to, the hail that falls from the sky is 'arare.' "Hail" as in "Hail to the king!" is 'banzai.' "Hail" as in "greet" can be 'aisatsu suru.'
