i have the same problem! but what i do that works is i have my hair just A LITTLE BIT damp and i spary hair spray all over my head. also pin up each layer of your hair so your not getting big thick peices. you want thin peices because it will look better and stay easyer. so i take my section of hair and hair spray it, then curl it for like 30 seconds and then after i spray it again. Or, you could scrunch it with mousse while it is wet.
