No. Halo and most of the games in the series are rated "M" for Mature. Games with the "M" rating are intended for people 17 years and older. Halo contains a lot of intense violence and mature language. With Halo 4 coming out in a matter of days, the violence and gore is only going to increase. This is a game is not intended for 11-12 years old.
