If you were an avid player of halo 1 through 3, Halo wars has good insight of the start of the war and is quite an enjoyable game if you've played things like Age of Empires and Command and Conquer and liked them. In my opinion, Halo wars is amazing, and yes, Halo Wars is worth buying,but only if you want to buy it not if you just like the hole halo series, remember! halo wars is a strategy game not another first person shooter like the other halos.

I don't know what the deal was with the previous answser but anyway. Halo:CE, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo 3: ODST were all made by Bungie Studios, which they are all frist person shooters. As Halo Wars was made by Ensemble Studios with Bungie's permition. Halo: Reach will more than likely be a first person shooter. Although Bungie was sort of thinking about messing with Project Natal a bit.. If you don't know what Project Natal is just look it up on Youtube
