HD-DVD has lost the war with Blu-Ray,mostly on commercial rather than technical grounds.Since it's now a dead end there's no point in discussing it's technical merits, although it certainly had those relative to BluRay
Yes, blue ray is better than DVD because blue ray offers a resolution of 1080ip and DVD only offers a resolution for 480p.
Blue-Ray will give you better picture and color experience, also the audio is much better than a DVD. Those two things are main benefits for upgrading and when you watch something on blue-ray you will never watch a DVD again. Vibrant colors and depth of the picture is astonishing.
It's a brand of DVDs that are apparently better than a regular DVD. I believe Disney makes them. They have a blue side on the back of the disk, which is how you identify it. It's supposed to have better quality than a regular DVD, like better image quality, better sound, etc.
Dvd is better than CD because the dvd can store more data than the CD
No it cannot. Dvd are a different format than a blue ray DVD
Robby the blue koala obviously
It's not called "Blue-ray DVD" it's just called "Blu-Ray" and it is just a DVD that is able to hold a longer movie with better audio and picture quality for High Definition movies.
Sense the blue ray holds five to ten times more information than a regular dvd player, the performance is unequaled. The blue ray has a much smoother , cleaner picture and worth the money.
hop is better because it will be on DVD faster.
it can store larger amount of blue films with equally better quality..
A blue ray player will play both blue ray disks and regular dvds
A 3d dvd is no different than a normal dvd except they require special players and special glasses to view the 3d format. http://entertainment.howstuffworks.com/digital-3d.htm
