It is insoluble, because it is a gas and it is invisible, so it can't dissolve.

The above may be incorrect: Soluble in what? Helium can be dissolved into a variety of substances - e.g. - virtually any liquid to varying extents. For example - Carbon Dioxide - CO2 - (also an invisible gas) is dissolved into your soda pop. As you know it comes out faster with temperature and with agitation, etc.

Is nitrogen gas a solvent or solute in a mixture?

Dissolved nitrogen in water is a solute; when nitrogen contain traces of another gas can be considered as a solvent.

What are the components of a solution and give its defnitions?

A solution has two components: a solvent and a solute. If the solvent is a gas then the solute must be a gas. If the solvent is liquid or solid then the solute can be gas, liquid or solid.A solution is a homogeneous mixture of the solvent and solute such that the bits of the solute cannot be seen by the naked eye. It is a stable mixture whose components cannot be separated by mechanical means.

Are water droplets in air solute or solvent?

Neither of both. Gasses never are solvents. Air is a mixture -not a solution- of more gasses, none of them are solvent nor solute. When oxygen dissolves in water then this gas is the solute in water (the solvent).
