Is hell really hot

For centuries people have thought so due to Our Blessed Lord's words about the flames. However, most theologians think that hell is frozen. The angels nearest God, the seraphim, are called the Burning Ones, because they are so close to God, who love burns and is hot. Hell is as far from God as you can get, and like going to the South Pole, as far from the sun as you can get on earth, it is cold.
