Yes it can. Cold sores have been forming on me since I was a child. My mother gets them, my grandmother....You could say that I got it because my mother touched me when she had a cold sore or whatever. But I don't believe I can give cold sores to people that aren't infected with the virus. My father never got infected or at least the symptoms don't show in men. It seems that it's only the women that get them in my family.
Herpes is not a genetic disorder. It is an STD. In addition, it is a virus that can be passes through sexual interactions or by coming in contact with a person's bodily fluid such as Saliva.
No, herpes is caused by a virus. It is frequently transmitted by sexual contact, but can be spread by other kinds of intimate contact as well.
However, it is possible for a mother who has herpes to give it to her baby.
Short answer: Maybe.
Long Answer: Herpes is transferred from person to person via contact with the spot that has it. When a herpes outbreak occurs on someone, touching their coldsores or other sores around the genitals could transfer it. However, if the mother did not have any while giving birth, even if she still had herpes, it would not have transferred.

The correct answer: No, it is not. Yes, it is possible for a mother with herpes to infect her baby during birth, but that doesn't make it hereditary.
Not inherited but a mother can pass the Herpes virus to her newborn if the baby passes through the vagina.
Herpes is not passed genetically, but by skin to skin contact. Children typically get oral herpes (cold sores) from casual contact.
Chlamydia is not genetic. It's an infectious disease you catch from someone who has it. It is possible to be born with chlamydia, if your mother had it at the time of your birth, but even then, it is not genetic but infectious.
If left untreated, chlamydia infection can cause pelvic inflammatory disease which can lead to damage of the fallopian tubes (the tubes connecting the ovaries to the uterus) or even cause infertility (the inability to have children). Untreated chlamydia infection could also increase the risk of ectopic pregnancy (when the fertilized egg implants and develops outside the uterus.) Furthermore, chlamydia may cause premature births (giving birth too early) and the infection can be passed along from the mother to her child during childbirth, causing an eye infection, blindness, or pneumonia in the newborn.
As for treatment of chlamydia infection, antibiotics are the most common but it will cause drug resistance and can be easily recurrent. Herbal medicine like Fuyan Pill maybe a better option compared with antibiotics, because it is made from Chinese herbs without any side effects and drug resistance.
No; herpes can not be inherited.
yes it does
Genetics.EDITED: I agree, it's genetics!!!
Genetics.
gene is the study of how traits are inherited through the interaction of genes.
There is no such thing as genetic study-but there is such thing as genetics. Genetics is the study of heredity, or how traits are passed down from parent to offspring.
Conservation genetics is the use of the knowledge obtained through genetics to improve the breeding stock and success of endangered populations, eg captive breeding programmes.

Through genetics. The yellow skin is coded for in the DNA that outlines the tomatoe's genetic information, and that is passed down.
The inheritance of sex-linked traits through meiosis is where chromosomes are replicated. This relates to genetics in that the traits are passed on to divided cells from the parent cell.

Gregor Mendel discovered how genes were passed on from parent to offspring through his experiments.
Through direct contact with the mothers vagina especially if it happens to be active at the time.
