I would say eating out drinking etc. in tourist areas is on a par/ more expensive than U.K cities with poorer quality, a lot of the supermarkets/mini marts etc are very pricy, if you find one the locals use you can make a considerable saving, public transport is cheap, taxis are expensive. On a whole I found it expensive and poor value for money
Absolutely without any doubt whatsoever Spain has become more expensive than a holiday in the UK. For those who smoke, tobacco products are cheaper in the duty free shops on board ships or at the airport than in Spain. Food across the board both eating in or out is more expensive and alcoholic drinks, even soft drinks are noticably dearer. Spanish Taxi drivers rip-off UK Holiday-Makers as a matter of course. We have some very cherished memories of Spain, but these are very much in the past.
Holiday in Spain was created in 2004.
Spain is an excellent holiday vacation.
Spain is not excessively expensive.
to my knowledge there is no such holiday in France, but there is one in Spain (or is it in Italy?). Spain!

SPAIN
No, not all of Europe is extremely expensive. Relatively inexpensive areas of Europe include: Eastern Europe, including popular holiday destinations such as Bulgaria and the Czech Republic; and Mediterranean: Turkey, Croatia, parts of Spain.

In Spain you could have a beach holiday or a sight-seeing holiday. As well as sandy beaches you can also expect excellent food and drink along with some spectacular scenery and walking routes.
