I'm no expert but I too have old no. 2 fuel oil that led me to the same question. I found out that you should first test the tank for water content. Since water & oil don't mix the water will be at the bottom of the tank. There is a paste you can buy and when you apply it to a dipstick it will turn a certain color if there is water present. As far as the fuel oil being usable the answer is yes but beware of the water at the bottom ( if there is any) and also mixing equal parts of new oil with the old oil should make it okay to use. Hope this helps...........
I'm wondering the same question, I have 2 full tanks of home heating oil in my basement that is sitting there for the past 4 years now, is this oil still usable? I'd like to pump it out and give it to someone who uses heating oil.
As long as the appliance is stored up right, it can be stored for years. The chemical cooling agent will still be good. Your appliance may be out dated before the feon is.
Yes. If they are stored in a system that saves such data. However, the likelihood that they were stored and are still available is slim.
The toothpaste will have an expiration date on it somewhere. That date is likely past. If it has been unopened, it may still be usable though.
Yes, the ancient Romans were very good at building things.
Depends on the wine and how it has been stored for those ten years.
That stuff lasts for years especialy if you intend to bake it.
yeah it should be ok if it is the right size
the answer is yes it can be crystallized and stored in a jar for many years to come
That depends largely on the wine and how it was stored. I suggest having a back-up wine ready in case it's not still good.
I stored 50 lbs of organic mung beans at Y2K, 12 years ago. They still all sprout and are delicious.
Yes, you could still use an old telephone directory but it would be out of date after six years. A good number of listings will no longer work and you may be missing lots of new entries.
