Is horseback ridding hard

Well it depends. Trail ridding and pleasure ridding requires no skill at all. But if you are a competition rider you know how challenging the sport can be.

To be a good rider you must me athletic and have good balance. Ridding takes a lot of leg muscles. To be a good rider you have to have a very high level of patience, because you must realize that a horse is a smart animal that can get confused, frightened, or just plain stubborn at times.

But what i think the most important aspect to be a good rider is to have trust in your mount, while the horse you are ridding has to have trust in you. The chances that you would end up having a good ride if both the horse and rider don't trust each other is very slim.
