Yes
Hay is hollow and makes good bedding for horses. But i need to know what are good characteristics of good straw for stable management. Please help x
Straw or hay
You don't have to. Often horses can do without it. Although it would be more comfortable for their feet if there is some. Hay is a good idea for long travels, something to keep the horse busy on the way.
If a horse is hungry straw is similar enough to hay that they will eat it.
If its hay, it will run abuot 30 dollars because I have horses and rabbits.
Hay is dried grass used as animal feed or bedding, straw is the dry stalks of cereal plants used for animal bedding or mulch, and propane is a colorless gas used as a fuel for heating, cooking, and powering vehicles. They are all different in their composition, purpose, and usage.
yes but make sure it has no mites or flees in it. some people freeze it first to kill the bugs
they only eat hay my friend, only hay and water
Yes oat is good for your horses but hay isn't good for horses because it is dead grass and it does not provide enough nutrients?
horses love hay
