H2O2 is a covalent compound, as a pure sample of it cannot be split into other separate compounds by physical means.

However, the bottle labeled "Hydrogen Peroxide" in your medicine cabinet is actually a mixture (it's about a 3% solution of hydrogen peroxide the compound in water).

I hope i could help out :)

Is soup is element or compound or mixture?

Soup is a mixture for it's made up of nonuniform parts with no guarantee that any two parts being made up by the compounds and elements. By the way a compound is a combination of elements in a orderly manner, for instance water (H2O) where H represents a Hydrogen atom, 2 means there are two of them in the water compound and O represents an Oxygen atom. H2 is a Hydrogen compound where two Hydrogen atoms make up one hydrogen compound. Elements are all the atoms found on the empirical table and include but are not limited to Oxygen O, Hydrogen H, Gold Au, Lead Pb and Chlorine Cl.

Is pure water an element a compound a solution or a heterogeneous mixture?

It's a compound. H2O - Two hydrogen atoms, one oxygen atom Water is a compound as it can be reduced to simpler elements (Oxygen and water). It is a homogenous mixture("the same") as it is uniform throughout. E.g: Salt and sand mixed together would be a heterogenous mixture("different") as you can distinguish between sand and salt. A pure 'mixture' is usually homogenous, especially liquids.

Give reason water is a compound and not a mixture?

A compound is defined by a substance in which the elements that it is made of are in a fixed ratio. In this case the ratio between the hydrogen and oxygen in 2:1. A mixture is a substance in which the elements that make it are not in a fixed ratio

What is H2O a mixture of?

It is not a mixture but a compound of hydrogen and oxygen. We call this compound water.

Is hydrogen peroxide a compound orca mixture p?

Hydrogen peroxide is a compound, but it is too unstable to exist in pure form undermost conditions. Therefore, when encountered in a laboratory or during medical treatment, hydrogen peroxide is almost always a mixture with water.

Do an element molecule compound or mixture explain when 2 oxygen atoms bond chemically with 2 hydrogen atoms and hydrogen peroxide is formed?

1. Hydrogen peroxide is a chemical compound.2. Because the direct method of preparation is not possible hydrogen peroxide is obtained from oxygen and hydrogen by the intermediate of antraquinone, using a palladium catalyst.

A liquid compound of hydrogen and oxygen?

A mixture of hydrogen and oxygen would be a highly flammable gaseous mixture. If ignited, the mixture would burn, explode, and form water vapor. Water is not a mixture of hydrogen and oxygen but a compound.
