Umm...i'm not sure what your asking I wish it was a bit more clear, however if what you mean is, is the "innate" instinct better than the "experiential" learned, then i would answer by saying it's not better or worse, they both need to be used in order to do whatever must be done.
Instinct isnt BETTER, its just different. A different way of approaching something, by your instincts, as opposed to what you have learned, and how you apply that to the scenario.

i think you shouldn't be scared to fight someone no matter what just because their bigger than you doesn't make them better than you and even if you dont think you know how to fight trust me you do its an instict to fight for basic survival of the fit
