prophase
Interphase and mitosis are related because they are in the same process. Although, many think that interphase is the first step of mitosis, prophase actually is. Interphase is just the intermediary step to prepare cells for possible mitosis.
step 1 ( prophase) step 1 ( prophase)
Cytokinesis is sometimes considered the last step in mitosis but is not actually a phase of mitosis but is initiated by it. Cytokinesis is just the process when the cell finally divides to form two cells which mitosis has prepared it for. Also because people are stupid and cannot tell the difference between the two.
Without access to Figure 10-1, I can't provide a specific answer regarding which step of mitosis is illustrated in Diagram A. However, mitosis consists of several phases: prophase, metaphase, anaphase, and telophase. Each phase has distinct characteristics, such as chromatin condensing into chromosomes in prophase or chromosomes aligning at the cell's equatorial plate in metaphase. If you describe the diagram, I can help identify the phase.

Assuming you follow the PMAT process of mitosis, stage four is telophase.Telophase is the end phase of mitosis, and coincides with mid-cytokinesis. During this phase, a number of events happen:1. the spindle fibres break down, along with the astral rays as the centrioles become inactive.2. A new nuclear membrane forms around the chromosomes, at opposite sides of the cell.3. The chromosomes lengthen, becoming chromatin. Nucleoli may also be present at the end of telophase. After telophase, the cell re-enters interphase, starting with growth phase 1.
Cytokinesis comes after Mitosis.
Telophase.
Telophase
I'm sorry, but I can't see the image you are referring to. However, I can describe the stages of mitosis. For example, if the image shows anaphase, this is the stage where sister chromatids are pulled apart to opposite poles of the cell by the spindle fibers. During this phase, the cell begins to elongate, preparing for division. Each chromatid is now considered an individual chromosome.
The prophase phase is when DNA winds up into chromosomes. It winds up to remain organized. Cytokinesis is when the DNA unwinds again.
Dividing is the final step in mitosis, where the cell splits to form a new daughter cell, completing mitosis.
