Some cats are lactose intolerant and feeding any kind of milk base product except for milk made for them can cause gas, stomach pains as well as diarrhea. Feeding your cat cheese or milk is very irresponsible and dangerous seeing as cats can have Allergies to it and be in a lot worse shape them just those common side effects if you want to give them milk soy milk or a brand called lactaid is the best. Don't hurt your cat if you don't need to. Lactaid also makes other things then just milk so look into it before just taking the easy way out. Hope this saves a lot of cats from those nasty side effects. Good luck!
i don't have cat but i think it should be ok, just not too many as it is junk food, also it may not want to eat regular food afterwards. the best thing is to only give it a few once in a while when it behaves well, ive also never had a cheese its myself, has the cat ate any? maybe throw some to a stray cat and see what happens, that's what i would do. let me know how it went.
You can give a cat cheese, but it is best to do so in small amounts on occasion. Cheese should be a special treat for a cat, but not as part of a whole meal. Cheese given in large amounts could result in a belly ache and an upset stomach, but it is unlikely to do any serious harm.
Another Answer:
If you are at all unsure, ask your vet.
Due to some cheeses being made from cow's milk, cats that become sick from drinking cow's milk could be effected by cheese. However, some cats are perfectly fine eating cheese as a treat. Try to stick to non-processed chesses.
Do not feed your kitten cheese! Many cats are lactose intolerant which is found in all dairy products from cows. Kittens can become very sick from this, and vomiting and diarrhoea can cause the kitten to be severely dehydrated, which can be fatal if not treated quickly.
Like humans some dogs ad cats are lactose intolerant and will become ill if fed dairy products (milk or cheese). If your cat or dog is lactose intolerant then they should not be fed dairy products, however otherwise cheese will not harm them but they may like it and begin to demand it.
If they eat to much cheese its possible, but just by eating cheese, NO, cheese is not particularly healthy for cats because of the milk in it, but is not harmful in small amounts.
cats love cheese and i have seen mine eat cake so yes i would say this would be alright
why would you do that?!?! and probably not
Cats love cheese in large amounts! They like swiss and jack cheese!
As I have 5 cats, I give my cats all the time but I have never had to take them to the vets about eatin cheese. So it isn't poisonous :)
Some cats may eat a full cheese puff but its not advisable to give a cat human foods such as cheese puffs.
Most cats enjoy cheese. Cheese is very salty, so, as with all processed foods, there should be a limit as to how much you give your cat.
Yes and no. Yes, cheese is..kind of healthy for them because it has nutriants and milk which helps their bones grow, but no, you shouldn't give them cheese...well, you shouldn't give cats ANY people food for that matter.
Cats love eating cheese and it's ok in small amounts but remember it's fatty and dense. Feed it them in small pieces and don't give them loads. Cheesy cat treats are safer to feed cats and they are bond to love both!
salted tuna is not very good for cats because it has salt in it which isn't good for them. Its best not to give them anything with alot of salt in it
