First, there is no Air Force National Guard. It is called the Air National Guard. The military does not train anyone to become a doctor. You would go to med. school yourself and upon completion of the course, join the Air Guard as a physician.
You have to have atleast a GED or high school diploma to join the military. But the Army National Guard has a program called 'Patriot Acedemy' where you can go and get your GED to join. In the National Guard, you can either work part-time, like most of the National Guard soldiers, or you can apply to work full time with the Guard. It would be just like being an active duty soldier except they cant move you to different bases. Check out the National Guard at www.nationalguard.com. Then search for 'patriot acedemy' I hope you get to join. The service needs a few good (wo)men
