Depression is a bad thing in itself, so yes. However, people can go through emotional spurts of instability. I myself have a "special" form of depression and am also planning to minor in psychology in college, so you can trust me. Not to be rude in any way, but you probably are experiencing hormonal changes.
YES
Yes a 9-year-old may suffer from depression. I learned in my Growth and Development class that between 3-10% of adolescents are diagnosed with depression.
Yes, Anyone can.
It is bad!!
It's bad for a 20 year old to not have a job. Period.
it's not bad if a 12 year old has high cholesterol.
its not only bad but you could be arrested for rape!
Absolutly... and if its sexual, its illegal

It is quite unusual but not that bad if careful
...................................................Uhhh..No.I would expect a 7 year old or younger, but not a 12 year old unless he/she has gone through a tragic accident or IS in a bad issue. To make sure he/she isn't going through a bad issue, such as a bully or watching the teacher be REALLY HARSH.
Teenagers usually go through mood swings. Sometimes depression is one of them, but they are not always depressed, they are also happy. If a 14 year old is depressed most of the time, there is something wrong. You should consult with a doctor or therapist. Be careful about medications, they sometimes mask the problem.
