Just how people have some foods they don't like, rats do too. the only reason to become concerned is if the rat has always chewed them before and has now stopped, just buy a different type or flavor and see if it will chew the new one. so long as it is eating its regular food it shouldn't be a problem. if it has stopped eating then gently lift its lips and make sure its teeth are just slightly over laping if the teeth are over grown you will need to take it to the vet to have them clipped.
